He is best known as the founder of one of the most renowned healthcare networks in India, the Apollo Hospitals Group.

Early Life and Education
Reddy began his medical education at Stanley Medical College in Chennai, where he studied medicine.
He later pursued cardiology in the United Kingdom and the United States, completing his internship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He also participated in research programs at a hospital in Missouri.

In 1978, Reddy left the United States and returned to India at the insistence of his father.
