Biography of Theodor Kullak
Theodor Kullak was a German pianist, composer, music educator, and publisher of Polish origin.
He began studying music in Poznan with Albrecht Agthe. By the age of six, he was already performing concerts, and at eleven years old, he gave a concert for the royal court in Berlin. However, as he grew older, Kullak lost his influential patrons, and at the age of nineteen, he became a medical student in Berlin.
Medicine did not interest him greatly, and in 1842, he found an opportunity to return to music.
